Last updated: 12 October 2026
Edith Pharmaceuticals LLP (“Edith”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we protect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have. We collect only what we need, and we do not sell personal data.
1. Who we are
Edith Pharmaceuticals LLP is the “Data Fiduciary” responsible for personal data collected through this website, within the meaning of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). Our address is 202/Dewangan Apartment, Near Firing Range, Bariatu, Ranchi, Jharkhand 834009, India, and we can be contacted at admin@edithpharmaceuticals.com.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data processed through this website and through enquiries you send us by email or through the website’s enquiry form. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from this website.
3. Personal data we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the enquiry form or email us, we receive your full name, email address, phone number (which may be used to contact you on WhatsApp), organisation (if provided), the type of enquiry and the contents of your message, together with a record of your consent and the time of submission.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the date and time of the request. This is used to deliver and secure the website.
What we do not collect. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, does not use analytics tools and does not build profiles of visitors. A small, non-identifying setting is stored in your browser’s session storage only to avoid replaying the opening animation; it is deleted when you close the browser tab.
4. Health information — please do not send it
The enquiry form and our general email address are not intended for medical, health or treatment information, or for reporting side effects or adverse events. Please do not send us information about your own or anyone else’s health. If we receive such information, we will not use it for any purpose other than responding to your enquiry or meeting a legal obligation, and we will delete it as soon as it is no longer required. For any health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
5. Why we use your personal data, and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry and carry on related correspondence. We do this on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form or choose to email us.
- To operate and secure the website, including preventing spam, abuse and fraud. We do this for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act.
- To comply with the law, including responding to lawful requests from courts, regulators or government authorities.
We will not use your personal data for marketing, newsletters or any purpose unrelated to your enquiry unless you have separately and expressly consented to it. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making.
6. Who we share personal data with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf and only to provide their services to us:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which receives enquiry form submissions and delivers them to our email inbox;
- our email service provider, which stores and delivers our email;
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), if we reply to your enquiry on WhatsApp using the phone number you provide;
- our website hosting provider, which serves the website and keeps technical logs; and
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces used on this website and receives your IP address when the fonts are loaded.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or restructuring, in which case the recipient will be bound by obligations no less protective than this policy.
7. Transfers outside India
Some of the service providers listed above may store or process data on servers located outside India. Any such transfer is made in accordance with the DPDP Act and will not be made to any country or territory restricted by the Government of India.
8. How long we keep personal data
We keep enquiry data only for as long as necessary to respond to you and to manage any resulting correspondence or relationship. Enquiries that do not lead to an ongoing relationship are deleted within 24 months of our last communication with you, unless a longer period is required by law. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.
9. How we protect personal data
We use reasonable security practices and procedures appropriate to the nature of the data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections for this website, restricted access to our inbox and records on a need-to-know basis, and service providers that maintain their own security safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as required by law.
10. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act and applicable law, you have the right to:
- obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request erasure of your personal data where it is no longer needed or where you withdraw consent;
- withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and
- have your grievances addressed (see section 12).
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@edithpharmaceuticals.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, please do not submit the enquiry form. If we learn that we have received a child’s personal data without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, we will delete it.
